Once I had a discussion with my Professor regarding the Education system in India. Prof told me one very amazing and true fact i.e. students in India obtain their degrees in constant time but with variable
knowledge. In just 4 years of time span, many engineers enter the corporate world. 60, 70, 80 or whatever percent they have, they are all considered as Engineers only. All do not come out with same knowledge and not even with the requisite knowledge as is expected. So, the system should rather be that students be given variable time to gain atleast constant (i.e. requisite) knowledge.
GOD has even designed the right system of constant learning in variable time. We, human beings, the top level of creation are given birth to accomplish the tasks to make ourselves move out of the Karmic cycle by performing good karmas. We are sent here to play the role in a movie called "Life." But, we
get so involved in this materialistic world that we forget our ultimate goal. We start finding happiness in the realationships that will not last forver and when our relatives leave us, we cry for them. Living Masters come in our life to teach us the technique to go within ourselves, to make our soul meet the
real GOD within us. If we will not complete task in this janam, GOD will put us again in this Life cycle in one form or the other. HE gives you endless time to achieve that ultimate goal (i.e. the constant knowledge) And, he wants his each and every creation to learn this. So, its better if we, the spiritual beings that have been blessed with human birth, make full use of our life and do all good karma
and make our GOD proud of us.
Heartiest Thanks to my Master .........

ReplyDeleteThanks muthu...:)
ReplyDeletenice one :)
ReplyDeleteAlthough my agnostic mind does not buy the assumptions made in the article, I feel that idea in the article is a nice perspective to find the answer to the question of "existance".
ReplyDeleteI suggest you to read on existential nihilism just for fun :)
@sukhi : thanks... :)
ReplyDelete@amit : assumptions refer to? And, the thing i missed is in co-relating it a very good way...will try to put another such article in good way and thanks you so much for the suggestion.i will read it surely...
An interesting article, keep up the good work....
ReplyDelete@sahil : thanks a lot.. happy to see that you read my blog.. :) do let me know how can i improve as well...
ReplyDeleteTerms- constant, requisite and variable are baffling a little bit!!
ReplyDeleteThe truth is one, and so the knowledge is..
but "mentally" we human beings or any other creatures are only confined to understand and lead our life based on certain number of dimensions of that "one". (Say, Space and time)
And that "one" is being perceived differently by each and so, each have different knowledge level as you referred.
But I ask,
What do we need:
the same knowledge(as you correlate with the prof.'s scene)
OR
the knowledge of "one".
Certainly, the latter as first one is relative which always needs a basis for judgment.
The latter is absolute and constant (which you tried to refer) means it is always flowing, never stops, never relative...
We are different colors of rainbow and so flash differently (having different knowledge from one perspective) but even then we are in union as we all are needed to make that "one".
So, instead of trying to maintain same knowledge we should seek the knowledge of ourselves...(which color I am?)
Then only we can have the knowledge of one (what is that rainbow?).
Its appreciable you mentioned that only "spiritually" we can know the "one" because then we wont be confined to those certain number of dimensions.
I also like the way you wrote about "game of life" which itself shows that its just a moment of enjoy, a moment to get involved.
but I sign off with a question:
Are we really in a karmic cycle??
Yes, you are right.. the three terms are not used aptly...
ReplyDeleteYes, thats right that we are bound in these two dimensions but the hunt is to go beyond these dimensions ....
Definitely we need the knowledge of the "one". Using the Professors example, I wanted to say that when students pass out from their colleges, they actually have their degrees in hands, but not the real knowledge that is expected from them. So, rather than running in arat race and covering everything in a fixed
time. the system should be like cover everything on whatever pace you like to but do it in a full fledged manner. Because if they won't do it today, they will
be stuck at some other point in their life and then the cycle will repeat and they will have to go back and study all those things which they skipped
earlier. And, no doubt, all students carry different knowledge but yes, there is some standard or the requisite amount that is expected to be done from their
side. Hope my idea is right....
I loved your way of expressing that one as Rainbow... And, yes you are right we must look into ourselves and this is what happens on the path of spirituality, one keeps going deep within and realizes that he is part and parcel of that "ONE" and then later the stage comes comes when he feels I am HIM only... I think this is the final knowledge that comes to him with experience and I think this can be termed as constant... because untill the human being realizes this, he will keep going back and forth in karmic cycle...
Yes, we are in karmic cycle....we can move out of it, that is all in our hands.
Thanks a lot for the analysis and the suggestions... This will help me in improving a lot..
Nicely written dear.
ReplyDeleteBut you see our Indian education system can never be as merciful as Supreme Lord...hehe..Only Lord out of Their cause-less mercy has been giving us infinitely variable time to reach Him...so that we can know our actual constitutional position as subordinate of the Supreme Lord eternally.
I wont mind in pointing out one BIG Mayavadis( The impersonalists...who believes in impersonal bharama form of the Lord as the final destination)misconception that you have. As u mentioned in your last comment that the on later stage to the path of self-realization one comes to know that"I am HIM only" is not not not not at all true fact dear but the truth is that u mentioned in previous line that "we are part and parcels of that ONE". This is very true. when we say that I am Him only that means we are proclaiming to be Lord. This merging concept with Lord is not true and pure devotees of the Lord even never desire this!
Can any of our body part, say hands or leg be equal to our whole body?? definitely not!
The difference is that the Whole is eternally the Whole, and the parts are eternally the parts. Both of them are the Ultimate Truth, Ultimate Beauty, Ultimate Knowledge, Ultimate Energy, Ultimate Renunciation and Ultimate Opulence. And the eternally parts and parcels can never ever be equal to eternally Whole....qualitatively we are same as Lord but quantitatively not!
If you want you can verify this from "Bhagvad _Gita As it Is"...chapter 7 can help you...well its important and beneficial to read complete book!
